‘47’ reveals poster for 36 Fajr

Iranian film ‘47’ has gone on poster in advance of screening at the latest edition of Fajr International Film Festival.

The flick at the helm of Alireza Ataollah Tabrizi and Ahmad Otraghchi will be shown at Cinema Salvation (International Competition) section of 36th Fajr filmfest to run from Thursday.

The poster designed by Behzad Khorshidi was revealed prior to screening to be held Friday at the Iranian film event.

Notable among the cast include Ladan Mostofi, Shaghayegh Farahani, Rima Raminfar and Hamidreza Azarang.

‘47’ narrates the story of three women from upper and lower echelons of society on the first day of winter.

Since its establishment, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

Directed by Reza Mirkarimi, the 36th edition of the festival is slated for April 19-27, 2018, in the Iranian capital city of Tehran.

Film company Eli Image has acquired worldwide distribution rights to '47’.
